My clock is all off! And while I’m no stranger to this time of the morning, I almost have no real sense of time. It’s dark down here. We don’t get much natural light…and when you know that you have a ton of work to get through, the hours go by, the days blend, and all of a sudden you’re a new zodiac sign. (YEAAAAH LEOOSSSS - Special Leo shout outs to: Anis, Andreas, Cleon, Chichi, Tenillia, Rob, and yours truly…yeah, I shouted myself out-what?)
With such a heavy work load, setting goals is important. You can’t just think about setting them. You have to have a thought that leads directly to an action, and presto: your path is clear, the next step is within your reach, and suddenly nothing is daunting or intimidating. So with that in mind, this week, my goal is to get myself re-organized, use that system, and get going. There’s so much to be done, and it’s really go time…so let’s go!
Here’s to hoping Bilkis had a safe flight back to her homeland.
Here’s to hoping John will recover from his triple threat attack and rejoin us soon.
Here’s to everyone to everyone working hard to make a dream reality…and everyone else who helps to make that possible.
I’m very fortunate.
But knowing that doesn’t get the work done. Working on it with a clear head, plan, and goal does.

…and I can’t leave without saying anything about Amy Winehouse…so sad, please don’t let your habits get in the way of your talents…one of my Amy faves…
Thank God it’s not as hot out today as it was yesterday. A heat break, yay.
Right on time too, because this evening we’re going to check out The Hipstones at Bedstuy Live in Brooklyn. Anis discovered this band the other day, and it just happens that they are playing at a music festival near here. And it’s free :) Can’t go wrong with that!
For more info on the festival, check it out here!
See you later :)

Omg. It is so hot outside.
Anis came in half melted lol. He told me that school field trips were canceled because of the heat. That’s crazy! Thank goodness for the office. We’re nice and cool here as we discover new music and talk about the different people we’d like to see live. There is so much good music out there!
A sad note: We’re going to miss Bilkis. In fact, we’re missing her already.
Thank you for all of your hard work Bilkis!
Back to work, letter’s to write, videos to edit, and of course, trying not to let the heat beat us.

Good morning,
We’re off to a pleasant start this morning, Puttrooku has returned, kissed by some FL sunshine, and Bilkis enjoyed her second official weekend as a New Yorker in Times Square.
Behind the scenes, we were up to the usual…meetings, writing, planning. We all got a little freaked out by actually being able to get more than a few hours of sleep. No had felt rested in months. Crazy right?
Wait, I just realized I titled this “go hard or go home” ha, wooops. On that topic though, put energy into doing things that motivate you, do the things you don’t like and do them well, and remember to think about how what you’re doing influences or affects others-it always does.
I’m riding out on (ironically) “I Can’t Get Started.”

In the middle of a clean up, a spontaneous dance party erupted. Everyone was shaking their goodies! That part I missed.
However this, was priceless.

Greetings everyone. We’re getting our week started with a bunch of stuff and a brand new intern.
Welcome Bilkis! :-)
You’ll be hearing a couple new voices as she and Steve make their blogging debuts. Yay!
And poof,
I’m outta here.
Bis spater!
Herrroooo,
This weekend was pretty hectic at the Putrookkuu residence…Easter. My madre decided to hold it at our house this year so…one can imagine the amount of yelling, preparation, vacuuming, and cooking that was done. My mother is one of those people who seems to enjoy putting herself in stressful situations. It’s okay though, as it all worked out well and we now have leftovers to last a solid 2 weeks or so. Italians always over-prepare, don’t they?
It turns out that this week here at HighBreedMusic we are going to see a similar crack down of stressful work…cleaning, and a lot of writing. We’ve got crew member information to write, charts to create, websites to update and post bio’s onto. This week is going to be a lot of work, but everybody is really excited because it’s all leading into making HighBreedMusic scream out it’s name until nobody can say “What is HighBreedMusic?” Here’s to a productive day.

It’s all about establishing structure and following through. The team has all blogged, or are in the process of blogging. Sometimes it’s hard for them to figure out what to put down about their day. Luckily, there’s always something going on, so it’s pretty easy to find inspiration.
Right now Scah-tay, is sliding some board down from the loft, and asking for someone to guide it. I can’t see his face behind the brown curtain, just his calves. Oh, and a pink hand. Dang it silly computer camera, wish you guys could see this.
The renovations continue! As does the tripping and stumbling over everything that is currently displaced.
May the universe grant us safe passage through these spaces…or superficial scratches, if we must be injured. Ain’t no one got health insurance. Let’s hope the paint fumes didn’t do any permanent damage.

Vitacolonna where the hell are ya! As we continue to read through countless intern applications i had a nostalgic moment remembering our first NYC intern, Jutuu, also known as John to you Americans. Who would have thought that, despite the need to calculate a daily amount of property damage liability for Jutuu, we would miss the slapstick humor and random acts of effort that further reinforced the comedy that is Vitacolonna. I clown him now but being an intern has its ups and downs and laughter makes the damages easier to stomach. Lol, Come back to us Jutuu!
