Hello, hello! We’re back with some more music we like!
Today we share the sounds of Curtis MacDonald and Erimaj.
What is there to say about it? So much! Both of todays artists have received very warm receptions from fans and music critics alike.
Follow the links and get your music education on! Trust me, your ears will be glad that your eyes are slacking ;)
“Alto Saxophonist, composer, and sound artist.”

Drummer, Jamire Williams’s Band shares “A cinematic outlook to music.”
Byusinder has entered the drum booth, and is hitting up some head bobs.
Next door, they’re making sure the sound is perfect for Inword tomorrow night. The Buse must play until he gets the signal, but he always gets a little worried that he’s bothering us by playing. As if! We like the sound of fun, play on.
The night is just getting started, we’ve still got much to do. Espressos aplenty.
Later :)

So, (they say to never start a sentence with so, but I do not bow to standards) I totally just fell backwards on this Roc n Soc stool we got going on in the studio. I did it right in front of The Khan and it was one of those things that seem to happen in slow motion. I saw myself slowly going down…but let gravity take its course. It was pretty funny though, and not too painful, but something I thought was worth sharing with everyone. Patrookkuu holds no embarrassment.
The Khan is speaking French right now, and I am sort of jealous that I can only speak one language. Damn, Long Island…you sheltered me too much. It’s probably my fault though.
Today was pretty great. I met the awesome, amazingly talented piano player Andreas. I got a lot of work done in terms of writing for websites and company documents. Scott has returned at almost 100 percent “feeling-better” capacity from his flu sickness. Buse is in Boston- he is missed. Mikeinder went to a “pow-wow” which is pretty sweet; and our expert writer Nikki is in the city at her bridal. The studio is still being rearranged and everything is coming along nicely. Pictures will come soon! Till tomorrow everybody, have a happy Easter, Passover, or a general “Happy Holidays.” Till later!

My day has been spent predominantly in the “meditation chamber”. I’ve been looking through wave forms of the percussion track of Faded Picture by Ria Alexander, and finding all of the tom hits, so that we may realize their true potential of righteous heavenly thwopitude. Thwopitude is not a word. I’m a little spent from my own group’s epic performance last night at Don Pedro’s, which saw an audience member front flipping off of the stage in front of me. That was a first for crowd participation…
Though I’d like to massage the specific sonic sounds of So Disrespectful’s drums I have to get to my square job. Come to my restaurant in Williamsburg Lokal and tip big so I can spend more time here!
Adios
