Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

Today, before I hit the road, I got a 59 cent banana at 7-Eleven…now, either it was because I was buying fruit at 7-Eleven, or the fact that it was 59 cents, but it didn’t sit too well in my stomach. Apparently, I am now allergic to bananas! Who knew? I embarrassingly broke out into hives and started scratching myself like a dog with fleas in front of The Khan AND Nikki…had to make a special trip to the bodega just to get some Claritin and I’m still scratching! Needless to say, I will never eat a banana ever again…screw bananas. Anytime I see a banana from now on I’m going to freaking throw it as far as possible from my eyesight.
Anyway, now that my scratching is starting to subside, I am ready to get down to business. The Khan was telling me about his meetings last week and we have a lot of exciting projects ahead! This week is going to be busy, busy, but for now we’re doing Tuesday cleaning. Cheers till later.

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday= busy, busy, busy. Have I said “busy, busy, busy” before? Oh well, forgive me but sometimes it just takes too long to find the perfect phrasing. Letting it slide, I’ll say that cleaning for the first part of the day, and writing, editing, mixing for the second part has kept everyone productive. I mean, it’s pretty easy to be productive when you have an ongoing playlist of Michael Jackson and Prince in the background. Toss in a little Marvin Gaye and you got a recipe for a happily active day. Nikki and I have been busy editing an important letter…the joys of being a writer and trying to find the perfect ways to express what you want to say. Aggravation ensues!
See that! At least what we are writing for a purpose…something we can feel worthy of putting our best efforts into. The rest of the team’s been doing everything from mixing and editing some tracks to making some sweet espressos.

Scott, Mike, and Buse are continuing their Tom highlights and song edits…it’s all coming together nicely and sounds pretty rad to me. Good news of the day (that I found out): Groundfood was really happy with our video for them! This all makes us really proud and inspires us to work harder to please all these artists that we admire and respect. Till tomorrow (or tonight, depending upon my mood) I wish you all a very happy Tuesday evening/night!

Morning, everyone (exclamation point). So, today I woke up feeling pretty crappy and wondering the best cure for a sick stomach; Tuesday all of a sudden felt like a Monday. Incidentally, coffee with as much sugar as possible and cigarettes work…who knew? That gave me a needed boost to start cleaning day after the weekend. The cleaning was actually pretty fun, though…Nikki and I just listened to music and made everything neat and cleanly. I read a poem of Nikki’s and the girl’s got skills. Now we’re in the studio starting some work…editing songs and writing letters. Cheers till later!
