Morning,
We have some pictures for you all…just to let everyone see the awesome views you get during a session at The Breeding Ground NYC. Here’s to a productive Thursday.

Itchy eyes, teary eyes, red eyes, runny nose, itchy nose, uncomfortable: it’s Allergy Season! I capitalize this because it has happened to me every year since…birth…and is that concrete. The other day I mowed my lawn and I counted: 35 sneezes, 15 tissues, 4 cups of water, and 2 Claritin. Sigh. Ironically, May is the only month I have allergies and May is also the month of my birthday. God works in mysterious ways, eh?
Anyway, our Mother’s Day session with Inword was seriously outstanding. Everybody present was in high spirits, an effect of the bands picturesque sound and laid back attitude. It was impossible to find a face that wasn’t smiling. Nikki and I just had a serious meeting up on the roof, letting that New York City skyline do its job; feeding us with energy and creativity. We came up with so many ideas that its hard to walk away from the computer. The crew is hard at work mixing and editing and we can’t wait to share the finished video/recording with everyone. Cheers! :)
Aloha!
We had a great weekend, Inword rocked The Breeding Ground on Sunday. Everyone had a really good time, and all the extra hours put in were definitely worth it.
A lot of restructuring today, so I must get on it.
Deuces :)

Byusinder has entered the drum booth, and is hitting up some head bobs.
Next door, they’re making sure the sound is perfect for Inword tomorrow night. The Buse must play until he gets the signal, but he always gets a little worried that he’s bothering us by playing. As if! We like the sound of fun, play on.
The night is just getting started, we’ve still got much to do. Espressos aplenty.
Later :)

…weather is sweet. Inword wanna make you move, yo dancing feet. Only 48 ours left till our Montreal brethren in reggae arrive at our doorstep for yet another excellent Charity series concert. I think the sun came out just for them… hopefully it will keep shining ;)

I’m throwing props to Patrookoo because I love Toy Story as well. There is a VHS tape somewhere of me doing interpretive dance to the soundtrack when I was 6 years old. An audience of one, my grandma. Pretty embarrassing (if you believe in embarrassment, which I don’t).
We have clients coming over today to view and hear more product from their Live Lounge show. Unfortunately I cannot be here, as I have to tube to Greenpoint to work the square job. In between preparing tracks for mixing we’ve all been cleaning up a bit, and as Nikki pointed out the other day, the space that was once half apartment/half studio is now all workspace. The gigantic HighBreed calender on the wall is full of appointments, the hard drives are all full of righteous tunes to be worked on, and I left out a bottle of 12 year old single malt Glenlivet (in case the client wants a touch.)

Greetings all!
I’m in bridal land, but I wanted to remind you that we’ve got a killer show coming up on Mother’s Day. Inword will be rocking out in our luxurious performance lounge as they record a live album. Wooo!
Are you excited? You should be!
Check out some music:
Toodles!
Have had a fantastic few days mixing a Montreal-based Jazz who, despite my best efforts, has little to no work to be done on their tracks. The musicianship really shines through when the mixing engineer hears only gold. Although a different style of music and a different topic, who is amped for the Inword show? I know I am.
