The cous so good they named it twice
Doing some more tom edits on Toni’s “Window” today, once again slightly daunting as the tom work is so rad. Patrooku also gave us three audio engineering underlings (Buse, Mikinder, and myself) a little grill on just how our studio is different from other studios that we’ve worked in (as we’re all musicians). The answers ranged quite a bit, as Buse works with a beginning studio of his own, Mikinder has recorded with his band Priestess with RCA, and I’ve only been in ghetto garage-rock basement studios, but in the end what we agreed on is that what makes a studio good is the music that comes out of it; and the people who want to work there. Thus, we are badass.
